Connor McGregor vs Nate Diaz - How a Replacement Fight Has Quickly Become one of the Biggest UFC Fights of the Year

Several UFC insiders believe that the original fight of McGregor vs Dos Anjos may have had less PPV purchases.

These two can talk some shit.

When it was announced on February 24th, the Connor McGregor and Nate Diaz fight has garnished a ton of interest.

At this time, Connor Mcgregor is considered the beat the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, is you ask Connor however, he may tell you he is the greatest period. Since his 17-second defeat of Jose Aldo, Mcgregor has been on a media-run that has included talk shows and commercials. He is not only the biggest trash-talker in the UFC, he has the skills to back it up. McGregor has a diverse background that includes Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo, and razor sharp striking ability. He couldn't be more confident stepping in the octagon this evening.

For of those of you who don't know, Diaz is no bitch. He is currently a member of Cesar Gracie Jiu Jitsu, one of the finest and most historic fight team in UFC, and Diaz is a powerful and skilled striker who can also utilize a rare fighting style known as "stockton slap" where a fighter will hit his opponent with a small flurry of light punches, at about 60% power, and then will gradually step up his punching power.

Mcgregor's previously scheduled match against Dos Anjos was going to be for a shot at holding two titles, but this fight could go down as a classic. Here's the weigh-in and an interview with the two fighters.
